Being Doctor Who (13'31")
Peter Davison talks about being cast, following Tom Baker, the lack of backstory for the character, the costume design, the celery, his perceived overacting, rehearsals, feeling he was too young to be the Doctor, limiting himself to three years for any show at that point (but being tempted by a fourth), the high quality of The Caves of Androzani, his final decision to leave, advice to Colin Baker and recording with little rehearsal.

The Crowded TARDIS (11'25")
Discussion of the choice to have three companions for the early Davison stories. Christopher H Bidmead explains why so many changes happened at once while Tom Baker complains that the characters were wasted. Bidmead and Peter Davison talk about Tegan and Sarah Sutton talks about Nyssa. Sutton also compares Davison's acting style to Baker's. John Black describes the change that having multiple companions emphasised. Sutton discusses the problems that having so many companions brought and Davison the problems Tegan brought.
